Earwax Fix provides professional ear health support for care homes, helping residents, families and staff access safe, convenient ear checks and wax removal without the stress of external appointments.

We specialise in bringing ear care directly into the care setting, offering digital otoscope assessments, earwax removal by water irrigation and microsuction where appropriate. Our service is designed with older adults and dementia care in mind, keeping the process calm, familiar and as comfortable as possible for residents.

Our care home model begins with a no-charge ear health assessment day, where residents, staff and families can have their ears checked using a digital otoscope. Where wax is identified, we arrange a return clinic date, allowing time for softening drops to be used and for any family, POA or clinical permissions to be confirmed where needed.

By delivering care on-site, Earwax Fix helps reduce the need for transport, chaperones, waiting rooms and outside clinic visits. This can be especially helpful for residents with mobility needs, cognitive impairment, hearing aids or communication difficulties.

Earwax Fix is fully insured, DBS checked and led by an experienced therapist with over 20 years’ professional care experience. We work respectfully alongside care home teams, keeping the process simple, organised and resident-centred.
